Then head towards the typical village of Mahébourg, for the visit of the ‘National Museum of History‘. This building which dates 1760, redraws the history of the colonization of the Mauritius Island and also shelters the vestiges of the French-English naval battle which took place at Vieux Grand Port in 1810.
